The Amazon Peacock Bass Fishing - A Wonderful Experience

The Peacock bass is a fish that is found in the waters of the Amazon River basin, America. This is accessible in the warm waters of many other South American countries such as Columbia, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Panama. It is also caught in Asian countries like Malaysia and Singapore.


Have you ever thought what Peacock bass fish is? The Peacock bass is actually a nickname, the real name is cichlids. These fish have 15 different species that are abundant in Brazil. On top are "speckled peacock bass" and the "Butterfly Peacock Bass". Their growth is quite fast and is like a preferable one for anglers. Some weighs 15-20 pounds and some are of 27 pounds weight.
